Ages 5-10

Little Designers

At Sew Crafty our program empowers children ages 5–10 to explore creativity while building real‑world academic and entrepreneurial skills. Through hands‑on projects—designing clothing, creating simple products, choosing materials, and crafting unique pieces—students learn how ideas become creations they can share, showcase, or even “sell” in kid‑friendly lemonade-stand-style fair.

Project Based Learning

Project: Slay Bows & Pose

Each activity is intentionally designed to strengthen core academic skills. Children practice mathematics through measuring, budgeting, patterning, and estimating materials. They build reading comprehension and application by following written instructions, interpreting design prompts, and reflecting on their creative choices. Along the way, they develop early entrepreneurial thinking by planning projects, making decisions, solving problems, and presenting their work with confidence.

We offer a variety of projects

Designed by a certified teacher, each project blends project-based learning with sewing and crafting, thoughtfully tailored to each age group to ensure age-appropriate, engaging experiences for kids and teens ages 2–18. Our projects evolve throughout the year. Check Instagram or TikTok to see what students are creating now.

These suggested session times serve as general guidelines. Project completion may vary depending on each student’s pace, creativity, and skill level—some projects may take longer, while others may be completed more quickly.

The recycling symbol highlights our sustainable, eco-friendly projects, which focus on repurposing old clothing and furniture to support sustainable creativity.

Let’s Celebrate

To celebrate their hard work, the program concludes with a special showcase. Students choose between hosting a fashion show, participating in a creative photo shoot, or running a lemonade‑stand‑style fair where they can display or “sell” their creations. This final event gives them a fun, confidence‑boosting opportunity to share their talents with family and friends.
