At Sew Crafty our programs for ages 11–13 empowers pre‑teens to explore creativity while developing real‑world skills in a fun, supportive environment. Students dive into hands‑on fashion and crafting projects—designing wearable pieces, creating accessories, refurbishing furniture, experimenting with materials, and developing their own unique concepts that reflect their personal style.
Designed by a certified teacher, each project blends project-based learning with sewing and crafting, thoughtfully tailored to each age group to ensure age-appropriate, engaging experiences for kids and teens ages 2–18. These suggested session times serve as general guidelines. Project completion may vary depending on each student’s pace, creativity, and skill level—some projects may take longer, while others may be completed more quickly.
The recycling symbol highlights our sustainable, eco-friendly projects, which focus on repurposing old clothing and furniture to support sustainable creativity.
To celebrate their hard work, the program concludes with a special showcase. Students choose between hosting a fashion show, participating in a creative photo shoot, or running a lemonade‑stand‑style fair where they can display or “sell” their creations. This final event gives them a fun, confidence‑boosting opportunity to share their talents with family and friends.
